The Artec Evo 4-9 manifold also uses their 50-55 v-band system allowing Precision , Tial or Garrett turbo fitments.

The wastegate flange also is designed to accept most 44/45/46mm v-band wastegates.

    Artec's objective was to reduce manifold internal volume to sharpen response and to also keep is as high flowing as possible. To do this they used a non-tradition (in the aftermarket) reverse rotation design. This allowed Artec NOT to have to use tight radius bends.  This is because, the standard rotation turbos put the turbine inlet flange too close to the block. Instead a reverse rotation turbo design was used, in much the same way as Mitsubishi did with the OEM equipment. This allows the turbo to be mounted low without the use of tight radius bends.  It also keep the manifold very compact. This design uses a 33mm runner ID to help aid in very fast transient throttle response.
